Welcome to Isle of Man Judgments Online
The Isle of Man is a small (221 square miles), self-governing Crown dependency. It is located in the Irish Sea at the geographical centre of the British Isles. The Island is an independently administered jurisdiction and does not form part of the United Kingdom or of the European Union.
Judgments Online is the free, on-line database providing access to judgments delivered by the Isle of Man Courts of Justice.
Currently this site lists the following:-
· The vast majority of all publically available judgments handed down from 2002 onwards, of which some of the earlier ones are in PDF format;
Currently, a search cannot look at the contents of a PDF document, only the titles and party names.
Paper copies of pre 2000 publically available judgments can be obtained from the General Registry Library (tel 01624 687593) and the Tynwald Library (tel 01624 685520). Copies of judgments are subject to the current charge for photocopying.
Links to Manx judgments delivered by the court of final appeal for the Isle of Man, the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, and relevant judgments made by the European Court of Human Rightscan be accessed via the "Other Judgments" button on the left.
To help you find what you are looking for, all judgments have been sorted into the categories shown on the left. You can also search the whole database using just a name or case number.

Judgments will normally be published within ten working days of the judgment being handed down with the exception of judgments which need to be 'de-personalised' prior to publication, which may take longer.
